Privacy at PieceID.
The current site provides educational guides and device-local photo preparation. It does not offer accounts, cloud photo analysis or saved Passport records.
Selected photos stay on your device.
The Hermès and Rolex photo checklists use the browser’s file picker only to display file-selection status. The site does not upload, decode, inspect or transmit the selected image content. Selections are cleared when the page lifecycle changes.
A selected-file count means preparation only. It is not an analysis or authenticity result.
No account or saved dossier.
PieceID currently has no user accounts, server-side uploads, saved Passports, ownership transfer or identity-verification workflow. The Passport page is a clearly labelled product preview.
No advertising analytics installed.
The current release does not include Google Analytics, advertising pixels or third-party tracking scripts. It also does not write browser local storage or session storage.
If analytics or account features are added later, this statement must be updated before those features are released.
Ordinary hosting data.
Like other public websites, infrastructure providers may process request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, request time, requested path and security signals. PieceID’s application code does not expose that information as a user profile.
Before any future upload feature launches, retention, access controls, consent, deletion and assessment provenance must be defined and tested.
